This project in Seattle’s historic Capitol Hill neighborhood involved building a new addition off the back of the house to expand the kitchen and create a large dining area for entertaining. We used traditional molding and elaborate casework to ensure the addition would blend in with the rest of the home. The gourmet kitchen includes a Lacanche range, a wine refrigerator, a wet bar with icemaker, and a massive quartz island as a centerpiece. The bar area features hanging glass shelves, perfect for displaying the client’s collection of liquors and liqueurs. The project also included an intricately tiled entryway, an ornate powder room, and a roof deck overlooking the backyard.
